IN TURKEY, ON THE WAY TO MALATYA FOR THE FİRST TİME

Temsa Avenue, which submits all accessories and equipments, required by both domestic and foreign markets for mass transportation in urban area, took its place in the fleet of Municipality of Malatya. Municipality of Malatya that makes investment for disabled people in transportation systems preferred Temsa Avenue, which is pioneering in the sector and initiated providing service of 9 vehicles.


The delivery of Temsa Avenue, developed by Turkish engineers in Temsa Research and Development Center, which ushers a new era in mass transportation, is speeding up within land. The delivery of 9 Temsa Avenue to the Municipality of Malatya will carry out to reach the aim of increasing mass transportation standards. Temsa Avenue vehicles, which are preferred for their optimum quality and operating costs by MOTAŞ, which is the transportation company of the Municipality of Malatya will be submitted to the service of the people living in Malatya as of April.


For the subject vehicles submitted to the fleet of the Municipality, a delivery ceremony, which Mehmet Buldurgan, CEO of Temsa Global and Ahmet Çakır, the Head of Malatya Municipality participated in, was held. After the ceremony, the vehicles were delivered to the Municipality of Malatya Mass Transportation Services Terminal in order to provide mass transportation service for local lines.


During the cereomony, Ahmet Çakır, the head of Malatya Municipality stated: “Our target is to optimize the traffic and also make the transportation network operate as functionally as transparently. The first step of this target is to increase the quality of mass transportation quality in order to incline our people to the mass transportation. Furthermore, in order to capture the desired quality in mass transportation, we aim to renew our fleet completely. Therefore, we were attentive to the buses’ design for the easy movement (such as low down floors or floors designed without foot steps) of disabled and old people and also people with the children and pregnant women. We also paid attention to the buses having nature friendly engines (green engine) and also having air conditioner. All these requirements corresponded to Temsa Avenue. In addition to these, some characteristics of Temsa Avenue, such as lifelong cost advantage and also fuel saving became other important factors in the preference of Avenue. We believe that, through Avenue we will also provide the “service” in transportation system in a perfect way, which is our prior target”.

During the ceremony, Mehmet Buldurgan, CEO of Temsa Global also stated: “As you know, we realized our delivery in a representative manner during Bus world Turkey 2010, with the participation of our Chairman. Today, we are happy to make our actual delivery”. Buldurgan also added: “It is a pleasure to see Avenue, which is produced by us, using the latest technology both in the country and out of the country. Avenue, is coming to the forth with its accessories, which provide the comfort of especially, disabled people, old people, people with children and also pregnant women.


It is very important to make cooperation with the Municipality of Malatya, which gives prior importance to its disabled citizens and also spends effort in order to make Malatya, an easily livable Province. However, it is more important for us that we will spend all of our efforts in order to make Temsa Avenue’s taking a part in every municipality of Turkey and also to submit all of Temsa Avenue’s privileges to its passengers in 2010”.
