Having been founded in 1968 and having started its production in the automotive sector in 1987, Temsa Global has hence continuously adapted and improved itself, and is presently named among the leading independent coach manufacturers of Europe. In 2008 Temsa Global added the 80,000-m² Egypt facilities and 153,000-m² Adapazarı facilities to its 555,000-m² Adana facilities. Temsa Global’s production facilities have a total annual capacity of producing 1,500 coaches, 2,500 midi coaches, 7,500 light trucks and 1,000 trailers on one shift.

Temsa Global runs its Europe operation out of Mechelen in Belgium under the name of Temsa Europe NV. Besides Belgium, Temsa Europe comprises companies based in Austria and Germany that provide sales and after sales services. While 80% of Temsa Global’s export is to the European countries, the company exports 75% of its coach production. Temsa Global has succeeded to exceed its 2008 export target of $200 million, thanks to its 10 representative offices and strong dealer network extending across 44 countries. The company continuously improves its international marketing, sales, spare parts and technical services network with the purpose of supporting its customers across the world and sustaining its success.
Temsa Global has demonstrated its success and ability for improvement with the “Busbuilder of the year 2008” award it received at the 2007 Busworld Kortrijk, and its penetration to the city bus segment with Temsa Avenue, the model that was launched at the 2008 Hannover Fair.
Temsa Global continues its production and sales activities within the framework of the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System. Moreover, Temsa Global has been the first company in the automotive sector to acquire the TS 18001 OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) certificate from the Turkish Standards Institute.
